Agropolychim encourages students’ engineering skills at robo league 2025/2026
On 28-29 March 2026, the final stage of the student robotics competition Robo League 2025/2026 took place at the Technical University of Varna. The initiative was organized for the second consecutive year by the Technical University of Varna, the Faculty of computing and automation, the student clubs TU Play and Robotics, and the Vocational High school of electrical engineering – Varna, with the support of the Regional department of education – Varna.

The competition was held in a championship format across three consecutive rounds, with the final stage bringing together over 110 students, organized in 56 teams from Varna, Burgas, Shumen, Dobrich, Razgrad, Pazardzhik, Kyustendil, and Sofia.
Participants competed in several disciplines, including Robo Rally, Mini Sumo, Line Following, 3D Maze, Drag, and Humanoid Robots, demonstrating both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in robotics, programming, and automation.

The final round determined the winners in each category and concluded the competition season, during which teams accumulated points across all three stages. The Robo League format promotes the practical application of theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios and fosters key competencies such as analytical thinking, teamwork, and engineering creativity.
Agropolychim joined the initiative as a partner, providing awards for the finalists. The company contributed specialized microcontrollers – an essential component that enables participants to bring their robots to life and implement their functionalities. The awards were presented by Pavel Dimitrov, Chief automation engineer at the company.
Supporting initiatives of this kind is part of Agropolychim’s long-term commitment to the development of technical education and the encouragement of young talent in Bulgaria. The company continues to invest in projects that strengthen the connection between education and industry and contribute to the preparation of future professionals in engineering and high technologies.
