General information

NPK 9:25:25 + 3 S is an inorganic complex fertilizer obtained chemically by neutralization of phosphoric acid with ammonia and addition of potassium chloride. This granulated complex fertilizer contains the three main nutrients – nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium – and is applied before or during sowing, or as main fertilization of a wide range of crops.

NPK 9:25:25 + 3 S is a product designed to meet the crops’ specific requirements for the concentration of nutrients at their different developmental stages.

At the early developmental stage, the crops use a relatively small amount of the absorbed nitrogen. Nitrogen deficiency right after emergence, however, has an adverse effect on the root formation and subsequently restricts the absorption of other nutrients. Both nitrogen deficiency at the beginning and nitrogen overload in the second half of the growing season limit crop growth, development, and productivity.

At the early stages of their development, the plants absorb phosphorus at higher rates to allocate and use it later to create organic substances in their organs. Phosphorus helps the plant to tighten its body structure which helps increase its resistance to diseases and pests, stimulates the growth of the root system, and accelerates the development of the crops. It mitigates the adverse effects of nitrogen overload to protect the cereals (wheat and barley) from lodging.

Finally, plants that are well supplied with potassium survive more easily the periods of drought and have more active photosynthesis. Potassium enhances leaf growth and slows down leaf senescence, which results in increased crop yield and quality. In cereals, potassium is absorbed most rapidly during tillering and flowering, and in corn – after 7-8 leaf formation and tasseling.

In addition to the above macronutrients, NPK 9:25:25 + 3 S contains sulfur which plays a significant role in protein formation. Therefore, sulfur is an important factor for the nutritional qualities of food.

Advantages

  • Source of available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for all crops and soils.
  • Balanced nutrient concentrations to meet crop needs at different growth stages.
  • Specially created formulations with added sulfur.
  • Easily and evenly spread on the field.
  • Significantly improves the Nutrient Use Efficiency.
  • Reduction of losses from nutrient wash-out and ammonia volatilization.
